A Prototype! — From the Mesocosm . . .
‘Mesocosm’ - “a realm in which conscious Being is held in a participatory embrace between Heaven and Earth” (McConnell, 2023). - See also: “Conscious Cultural Evolution — Lesson 6”
This article is published with the express intent of both introducing myself to others (please see - “Anathema! - Beyond Redemption?”) while simultaneously launching a collaborative project unfolding over the next few months to prototype the “Conscious Cultural Evolution” course.
Consequently, and beginning mid-2013 with my enrollment in a MOOC (e.g., Massive Open Online Course - “Design Thinking Action Lab”) offered through Stanford’s d.school (please see - “Connective Learning Communities”), my learning process since has similarly included coursework with Harvard’s Graduate School of Education (see also - “Design Challenge: Human Factors and My Ideal Learning Space”).
Likewise, and having interfaced with Otto Scharmer and key Presencing Institute figures as a result of helping test-drive the inauguration of edX’s u.lab platform with a small group of others prior to its launch in 2015, I’m more than pleased to be mobilizing a task team of our own to interface with the u.school’s, Activating Prototypes for Systems Change program.
It’s for these reasons though too, I’m hoping to recruit seven or less, well-qualified candidates utilizing a two-step approach where, STEP 1 — entails familiarizing potential participant/stakeholders with the overall project, and STEP 2 — involves their submitting a “Co-Instructor Questionnaire” enlisting Google Poll.
However, and to better inform your responses (if so inclined) to the prototype’s survey, here‘s a short check list prospective members may wish to review prior to returning the Google survey:
- You‘re somewhat familiar with Ken Wilber’s work (in general) and the AQAL model, more particularly.
- You possess a working grasp of the ProSocial framework’s - Eight Core Design Principles.
- You have an appreciation for what the Inner Development Goals (IDG) are and — their importance relating to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of 2015.
Moreover, and in closing, yet as mentioned (at 3:12) in the “STEP 1 - Task Team Recruitment” video, as ‘a perk’ for taking the time to complete and return a “STEP 2 - Co-Instructor Questionnaire”, I’ll likewise forward a pdf copy to you of a recently published Forbes article featuring Nobel physicist Roger Penrose’s efforts — entitled, “Testing a Time-Jumping, Multiverse-Killing, Consciousness-Spawning Theory of Reality” (Morris, 2023).
